I made this dessert for Valentine's Day. It's really great because you have three different textures: the crispiness of the puff pastry, the airy white chocolate ganache and the mellowness of the caramelized pear. So much yumminess at each bite...You'll love it!
Ingredients (2 servings)
2 pears (not too ripe)
brown sugar -- 25g -- 2 tbsp.
a knob of unsalted butter
few drops of lemon juice
white chocolate -- 150g -- 5.3 oz.
heavy cream -- 150g -- 5.3 oz.
1/2 vanilla bean
1 puff pastry sheet
Oven temperature: preheat to 210°C -- 410°F.
Baking time: 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
